ART CONTEST

Wow! We have received artwork for the 2015 Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic Art Contest, and it looks terrific!

Thank you for your support of the 19th Annual Goodyear Cotton Bowl Art Contest. This year, we received more than 2,500 pieces of artwork from young artists throughout the DFW area.

Students may enter as an individual or with a school submitting at least 50 entries total. Everything you need to get excited and to stimulate your creativity is explained here. Please click on the art card link below to download and print your art card and entry information.

The entries submitted made the judging more difficult than ever before. The quality of the entries is remarkable! Last week, after careful deliberation and consideration, the judges reached a final decision. We have notified the teachers of the winning students so that we may set up a day and time to present their awards to them. We will also be distributing a Goodyear Cotton Bowl Certificate of Recognition to the students that made it to the final ten entries for each category. All the schools will be notified of the winners by email no later than December 11th. Winners will also be posted here in a few weeks, so check back to see who won.

This is one contest where every child that participates is a winner! Besides the awarding of some great prizes to the winners, we have devised a way to showcase each student?s ability. You will find the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners? artwork proudly displayed at their schools and at AT&T Stadium in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Offices. Other pieces are laminated and used as placemats for our premier luncheon event during Cotton Bowl week. What a great way to welcome our visitors and show off our area?s greatest resource ? it?s youth!

Thanks again to all those who participated this year! Keep up the good work!
